A new £450 million leisure development called Therme Manchester is set to start construction by the end of September 2025. The attraction is being described as a 'water and wellness resort' and will combine fun and relaxation in one huge venue.
The project includes swimming pools, water slides, fitness and spa facilities, indoor gardens, and even an indoor beach. The development is being praised for not just its scale, but also for its focus on sustainability, with lots of green features planned.
Construction will create around 2,500 jobs, and once open in 2028, Therme Manchester is expected to be a major boost for the local economy, attracting visitors from across the UK. It will be one of the largest developments of its kind in Europe, putting Manchester firmly on the map for leisure and tourism.
