A9 Dualling Contractor Named & Community Events Announced

The long-running A9 dualling project in Scotland has reached an important stage, with Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd. confirmed as the contractor for the Tay Crossing to Ballinluig section. This £152.7 million stretch is one of the final major phases of the dualling scheme, which aims to improve safety, reduce journey times, and support local economic growth along this key route.

To keep communities informed, Wills Bros is hosting a series of 'Meet the Contractor' events in November and December. These sessions allow local residents to ask questions, learn about construction plans, and find out how traffic management and temporary road closures will be handled during the work.

Full construction is expected to start in Spring 2026, but preparatory work is already under way. Once complete, this section of the A9 will feature dual carriageways, modernised junctions, and improved river crossings, making travel along the corridor faster and safer for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
